Besides taking less time to be prepared, the most fantastic part is that it can be made by using just three to four ingredients. It can be made anytime. It just takes a couple of minutes.
You can also improvise this dish as per your choice and preference. Use your full creativity to innovate this dish in your own way. To make Oreo cake you just need some basic ingredients. That’s it! It is totally a vegetarian dish, it does not include eggs. This particular one can be made in different ways, you can make it in oven, or pressure cooker, or pan as well. You can even store this cake for 2-3 days. It will taste just the same way as it did when you had the first bite.
Oreo Cake Recipe
- 2 Packets of Oreo Biscuits
- 200ml of milk
- 1 teaspoon oil
- Chocolate Syrup (optional)
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
Method to prepare the Oreo cake
Step 1: Take two large packets of Oreo biscuits and two bowls, a big one and a small one. Peel the white cream from the biscuits and keep it in the small bowl. Keep the biscuits in the big bowl. Do this with all the biscuits.
Step 2: Blend the Oreo biscuits kept in the large bowl. Blend it to make a fine powder. Once done pour the 200 ml milk into the powdered Oreo biscuits. Add the baking powder and baking soda to it too. Take a whisk and mix the powdered Oreo biscuits with the milk nicely until they reach a good cake batter-like consistency. If you want to have a crunchy texture in the cake then don’t let the mixture be too fine.
Step 3: Take two baking pans and grease them with a teaspoon of oil. Or you can use butter paper to line them. Now, divide the Oreo biscuits batter into two parts. Pour it into the two greased baking pans. Toss it into the oven for 35 minutes at 180 degrees. Repeat the process with another half of the mixture. You will have two cakes.
Step 4: Take out the cakes carefully and let them stand aside to cool down.
Step 5: Once they get cold to the touch, apply the Oreo cake-cream or icing on top of one cake. Then place the other one on top. Garnish the cake with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. Slice and serve it to your loved ones.
Method to prepare the Oreo Cake Cream Icing
Step 1: Now, remember you kept aside the Oreo cream in the small bowl. Add some milk to that and mix it well to make a thick paste.
Step 2: Take a large bowl and whisk the heavy cream until it doubles in size. Then add the powdered sugar to it. Beat it until it has stiff peaks.
Step3: Add the Oreo cream mixture very gently to the whipped heavy cream. Combine it with light hands until everything seems well mixed.
